My training and consulting approach is informed by my theater, science, and education experiences to promote interactive and natural communication. I believe science communication is a learned skill, not an innate talent, and everyone can learn and improve. I can also be a science resource myself.
Group training
A team at your workplace, an academic lab, a gaggle of students banding together – I’ll lead a workshop session for your group to develop skills and practice together. In as little as an hour, you can see improvements in your skills.
Individual projects
For science communicators, I’ll work with you individually to evaluate your current skills, provide feedback on presentation materials and performance, identify where you can improve, and more.
For those in need of a science communicator, I can translate science into lay language, provide context, and otherwise build your foundational science understanding for your project.
Please note that I do not do career coaching, only science communication skills coaching.
